The sound of my pipes have been taken by the wind You cannot hear them and you cannot see me But you can feel it because you are with me And I am with you who sleep in this field. Lying beside you, your comrades are here too. The birds are singing, the sun is shining But my heart is sad and angry against those who Have destroyed your life on that morning Of April Seventeen with thousands of your friends. You have stayed here since that horrible and dark day And for you family anf friends pray But no one will forget the sacrifice you've made. Each year on that date I shall come here And maybe, who knows, you will hear The sounds of my pipes carried by the wind And feel the tears of my heart reaching your mind
